We founded Scenic Land & Farms with a simple conviction: landowners in Middle Tennessee deserve advisors who understand every dimension of their property — not just its listing price.

His foundation in commercial real estate — from multifamily acquisition and short-term rental strategy to corporate lease negotiation with a premier property management group in Washington, D.C. — gave him a rare analytical edge that distinguishes every engagement.

Ross is the financial architect behind every Scenic Land & Farms transaction. From the farm in Gallatin where he raises his family to the boardrooms of two Fortune 100 companies where he spent nearly twelve years driving growth, Matt brings a perspective rooted in both the soil and the spreadsheet. His degree in Marketing and Business Management from Lipscomb University, combined with a career defined by customer service and sales excellence, translates into the kind of client advocacy that defines Sotheby's International Realty–caliber representation.

What sets Matt apart is firsthand experience. He has personally built homes, acquired land, and navigated the complexities of selling property — a depth of understanding that allows him to anticipate his clients' needs before they arise. "Having been through it myself gives me a perspective I couldn't get any other way," he says. That authenticity, paired with an almost obsessive awareness of Middle Tennessee's evolving market, makes him an invaluable guide for buyers and sellers alike.
